01 — Overview

Series 01

The LFA-200 measures absorbance and transmission of liquid samples from deep UV to near infrared. A 12-position carousel, a sealed optical bench and on-instrument methods make it suited to routine analysis where the first and the last sample of the day must be comparable.

How it works

Double-beam UV-Vis

Double-beam UV-Vis

Double-beam UV-Vis

Light from the source module is split into single wavelengths by a ruled grating. A reference beam and a sample beam pass through the chamber at the same moment, so lamp drift cancels out before the detector reads the result.

Standard 10 mm cuvettes need roughly 1–3 mL depending on the cell. Micro-volume cells are available as accessories for smaller samples.

No. Methods, measurement and reporting run on the instrument. A PC or LIMS can be connected over Ethernet for central data storage.

Built-in routines check wavelength accuracy and photometric response against the reference standards your quality system specifies. Each check is written to the audit trail.

Yes. It needs a stable bench, a standard power outlet and 10 cm of clearance at the rear for ventilation. Full site requirements are in the datasheet.
