01 — Overview

Series 01

The LFM-80 measures geometry of small machined, moulded and printed parts without touching them. A telecentric lens keeps magnification constant across depth, and the granite base isolates the optics from bench vibration.

04 — Operating principle

How it works

Telecentric imaging

Telecentric imaging

Telecentric imaging

A telecentric lens only accepts light rays parallel to its axis, so a feature appears the same size whether it sits high or low on the part. Edge detection then measures distances, radii and angles directly from the image.

Parts up to 80 × 80 mm in footprint and 50 mm in height, with a mass up to 5 kg. Fixture kits hold small or irregular parts repeatably.

Highly reflective or transparent parts may need adjusted illumination. Programmable ring and coaxial lighting handle most surfaces.

Yes. Measurement routines are stored centrally with version history, so every operator runs the same method.
